They lived in Bognor for sixteen years and were active members of Bognor Methodist Church, where Mr. Thins was a Sunday School teacher.

    Tome was in the insurance business for some time and then in the garage business with his son, Cecil Tome. Mr. and Mrs. Tome are members Central United Churth , where Mrs. Tome has been connected with the W. U. S. and the Woman's Association. She was a member of the Owen Sound Women's Institute for years, a member of the Owen Sound Chapter 94 Order of' the Eastern Star and a member years ago of the Y. M. C. A. Luxiliary.

    George Bothwell was born at Manor Farm on April 25, 1877, the son of John and Mary MoKerroll Bothwell. Mr. and Mrs. Bothwell were members of Division Street United Church where Jr. Bothwell was an Elder. Mrs. Bothwell was a faithful member of the Bothwell's Corner Women's Institute for many years and was secretary of the Community Red Cross Society during the First World war.

WILLIAM FRETTER 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY IN 1964 :L I Above, Mr. and Mrs. William Fretter are pictured with members of Bothwell Corner Women's Institute when they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. William Matthew Fretter and Ellen Adelaide Selman were married in 1914 and raised a family of four children: Evelyn, Douglas, Joseph and Lorraine. William's parents Charles and Elizabeth (Sydney) Fretter had also farmed here in earlier days.
