    15 was formed and comprised of the lots between the baseline south and lot 11 in Concessions 10 and 11. The first log school was built on Lot 2, Concession 11 in a grove of cherry trees. James Struthers was the instigator of having the school section formed therefore the school was known as the "Struthers" school. Therefore in 1883 a new frame school was built and completed at the present site on Lot 5, Concession 10. This school was destroyed by fire on May 4, 1920.
