Memories of Elvis
A special concert with local Elvis tribute artist, Peter Irwin, is planned for Sunday, May 6, 2012. The concert, titled Memories of Elvis, featuring Peter Irwin and the Jailhouse Rock Band, is a two-hour show with a focus on Elvis’ earlier music and gospel influences. The Memories of Elvis show has been very popular in recent years and has enjoyed sold-out performances at venues such as The Roxy in Owen Sound. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the growth of the Heritage Village at Grey Roots. The concert will have two showings, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and will be held at Meaford Hall. Tickets are $26.50+HST each and are available through Meaford Hall at 519-538-0463.
