Grey County Black History Event with Northern Terminus Journal Vol. 10 Release

9:30 a.m.-3:00 pm: Grey County Black History Event where Vol. 10 of the Northern Terminus Journal will be launched.

The Emancipation Festival presents the Grey County Black History Event at Grey Roots. Speakers have been selected to share highlights of Black History in Grey County. Everyone is welcome to attend this day of shared learning, historical enquiry and music. Admission to the event is $25, and includes lunch and other refreshments. Volume 10 of Northern Terminus: The African-Canadian History Journal is also being launched. Copies of Volume 10 and earlier volumes will be available to buy.

10:45 - 11:30 a.m.  Speaker Kathleen Szakall continues
11:30 - 12:00 p.m.  Judith Plaxton introduces her publication "Morning Star"
12:00 - 12:45 p.m.  Lunch break and Marketplace
1:00 - 1:30 p.m.  Lezlie Harper-Wells, Niagara Bound Tours (Black History tours)
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.  Naomi Norquay update on the Old Durham Road
2:30 p.m.  Release of Northern Terminus Vol. 10
