Climb Your Family Tree

Program Length: 2 hours
Each student has a unique heritage and family traditions that are passed on through the generations. This program, offered through the Grey County Archives, focuses on the importance of family history, genealogy and how students can do research both at home and in the Archives.
Following a brief introduction and tour of the Archives and its holdings, your class will explore some important questions about family history. They will participate in discussions and hands-on activities such as making a family tree. This program was designed to meet the Ontario Curriculum expectations for Grade 2.
